Business Awards
These awards provide acknowledgement, recognition, and special publicity to honor the pollution prevention, sustainability, and waste reduction accomplishments of businesses. Award winners showcase successes in these areas, and many of their case studies are provided through the awarding program's web site. King County businesses may be eligible for these awards:
Conservation Awards: Honors important accomplishments in conservation, to raise awareness of mission, and to build support in the community for land preservation.
Eligibility: individuals, groups or projects are eligible.

Ecology Governor's Awards: Recognizes Washington enterprises that have shown leadership in environmental protection while at the same time accomplishing their own objectives.
Eligibility: businesses, trade or professional organizations, government agencies, environmental/community/non-profit organizations

EPA Evergreen Awards: Showcases small, medium and large companies in the Pacific Northwest that have clearly incorporated a pollution prevention ethic into their business planning.

Green Globe Awards: Recognizes businesses, organizations and individuals who stand out among their peers as environmental stewards. Recipients are selected from participants in King County environmental management and assistance programs who have distinguished themselves pursuing high environmental standards.

Earth Legacy Awards: Recognizes environmental programs, people, and companies working together to improve and enhance air, land and water quality in our region.

EnviroStars certification: Consumer friendly program that recognizes businesses and organizations for proper management of hazardous waste and pollution prevention based on a set of criteria.
