EnviroStars Program

The EnviroStars Program gives small businesses incentives and recognition for reducing hazardous materials and waste, in order to protect public health, municipal systems, and the environment.

EnviroStars representatives work with businesses to evaluate and implement practices which minimize environmental and health impacts, and may also lead to a range of economic benefits.

EnviroStars certification provides the public with an easy way to identify and support businesses using environmentally responsible practices, based on an objective third party assessment. Businesses are awarded a 2-Star to 5-Star rating.

Smart Business, Smart Choice: By choosing local EnviroStars certified businesses, you reinforce better business practices - which in turn creates healthier, safer communities and motivates more businesses to "work green" in order to attract, or keep, you as a customer.
