Interagency Compliance Team
The Local Hazardous Waste Management Program invests in health, safety and environmental compliance
The Interagency Compliance Team, or ICT, works to bring owners of problem sites into compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations. The ICT is a multi-agency team coordinated by the Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County and comprised of regulatory inspectors, investigators, law, and code enforcement officers from agencies in the Puget Sound region.
Since 2001, the ICT has worked with property owners and operators on over sixty King County sites. These include automotive related businesses, private properties with marginally legal businesses, and private properties with illegal business operations.
