Interagency Compliance Team

The Local Hazardous Waste Management Program invests in health, safety and environmental compliance

The Interagency Compliance Team, or ICT, works to bring owners of problem sites into compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations. The ICT is a multi-agency team coordinated by the Local Hazardous Waste Management Program in King County and comprised of inspectors, investigators, and law enforcement officers from agencies in the Puget Sound region.

Since 2001, the ICT has worked with property owners and operators on over thirty King County sites. These include automotive repair and recycling sites, private properties with marginally legal businesses, and private properties with illegal business operations.

For more information on ICT, contact Sue Hamilton, Health and Environmental Investigator, at sue.hamilton@kingcounty.gov.
