Some pest control products may have the OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) label. OMRI is a private nonprofit group that tests and certifies that products meet the standard of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Organic Program. Products that meet this standard generally are safer, but not always. As with any pesticide, OMRI-listed products should be used carefully.
