GROW SMART, GROW SAFE

Home >> Grow Smart, Grow Safe >> Weeds

Weeds >> Observe your garden regularly

Notice where weeds are sprouting. Weeds are easier to manage while they're small.

  • Remove weeds before they go to seed to prevent even more weeds later.
  • If you have more weeds in some areas, the soil might be too bare or the lawn too thin.
  • Don't just pull the weeds. Cover bare soil with mulch, plants or grass seed to prevent future weeds.
