Improving Indoor Air Quality in Schools: A Resource Guide for King County Schools
|
| Author: |

| Abstract: |
Improving the indoor air quality (IAQ) in your school can help decrease illness rates, decrease absenteeism, and improve students’ academic performance. This informal resource guide gives schools practical advice on how to improve their indoor air quality. The report has three main sections (keeping your building dry and clean, controlling pollutants, and ventilating adequately) with a resource section of local contacts, curricula, and help on starting a school indoor air quality program. Recommendations are presented by audience-- school districts, maintenance staff, teachers, and the rest of a school community.
